Tom showing the great packing job fitting all our stuff into the van. We had a long drive to get to Yosemite today. Along the way there was really amazing sights.
The weather today was pretty interesting as it was cool with a lot of wind while we driving down. When we got to the ranger station to start the ride it was a bit warmer, but we all planned for a cold ride. As we started up the mountain it was clear that it was going to be interesting as the wind was pretty strong. Along the first major stretch Tom rode away, I struggles on and Bill and Paul decided that it was crazy to climb in this weather and decided to head to Mono Lake. More on that later. Here are several shots of the lower portions on the climb to Tioga Pass.
