Travel (No Ride due to weather)
Well, today was a long day of travel and not much else. I woke up early and drove to Boston which was much easier than expected. My flights went though Phoenix. Bill and Paul flew Southwest and arrived before I did. When I got here, it was storming pretty bad.
While the weather wasn't great, we were able to get the bikes put together and at least make sure things were OK. We had to put off our planned ride for tonight as the lightning and rain was way too unpredictable.
Here is a picture of the beautiful weather that we seem to find no matter where we go to ride bikes these days. At least it is warm and not snowing! I did see some pretty spectacular lightning on the drive up from Albuquerque.
At least we were able to get out and find a great place to eat dinner called
Los Potrillos. Had an Asada Burrito with Green Sauce .. Was absolutely fantastic. Not heavy at all like the food can get at home. This burrito was light and left you just full enough even though it was very large.
Well, lot's of plane time today and no riding, but I think tomorrow will be a good day. We are already adjusting our plan and will be riding the Bandolier Cruise ride in order to break up the amount of driving we need to do. More storms are expected tomorrow, but as long as we are done by lunch we should be OK.
